Let's Go Visit Mark and Bethany!!

 

My sister Ang and I got the Opportunity to go see Bethany and Mark in Denver, Colorado. They just moved from Florida recently. Bethany called and said she got Rascal Flatts tickets from Mark's work for free and wanted to see if we wanted to come!!! Ang and I flew to Denver with a pretty good deal so it was prefect! Once we got there I noticed all the cute little bunnies everywhere!! They were so cute and small and had little tiny cottonball tails. The only thing is I went to go take a picture of a bunny without my shoes and there is bunny poop everywhere in the grass because there are so many bunnies there!! No I did not step on any and yes I grabbed my shoes before I walked on the grass. The bunny video is a long one so pull up a chair if you REALLY want to watch the cute bunny for a while.

The first day we were going to play tennis but all the courts were full (tennis with the Caldwells is our idea of fun). Darn! So we drove around and I went to go get some gluten-free food at a store like whole foods, because I wasn't doing too well with gluten. It was actually fun to go into a new store! 

When we got back we hung out for a while and then we went to pick up Mark from work in downtown Denver. There was so much traffic, I guess because across the street from Mark's work a guy was holding employees demanding money? Idk it was on the news, there were police cars everywhere. It was fun driving around downtown Denver because Matt and I weren't sure if we wanted to apply to law school there. 

When we picked up Mark we went to the Russell Stover discount chocolate store and got chocolate for a good deal! yum! We then tried to decide where to go to dinner, so of course we went to a mexican restaurant! I was weary because of gluten, but I got a vegetarian, corn enchilada it was amazing!

 

 Mark then was SO nice and let us shop at the outlets there. We found out we only had like an hour instead of 2 hours, so we did some major shopping in just one hour!!Then later Mark watched Alf and I tuned in when I found out what he was watching:). Alf is really funny!

 The next day we took a hike to see pikes peak and all the cool rock formations. The picture below is siamese twins rock. The one above is balance rock.

We then headed to the Ghost Town Museum! It had all these collectibles from old Ghost Towns. Also, a Carriage that I don't think Ang was supposed to get on:).

For 25 Cents you could watch old movies as you looked though the glass and you had to wind it up first. SO STINKIN COOL!! Bethany couldn't see so hence she is holding my hair up.

 Have you seen her in the movie BIG!? So creepy and cool!

 Old piano/Organ is was all in one! This is right before we were going to watch a documentary but it was so boring...next thing!!

As we went to drive the historic downtown we saw these two fellas that almost got it by cars!! It was a nail biting experience!!

Um...Historic Old Town wasn't that historic except for this building?

We then went to the Rascal Flatts Concert. HOLY COW! We got good tickets we were close! Thanks Mark!

 

The next day was Sunday so we took a drive to Columbine and the Denver Temple. On our way there we saw TONS of little prairie dogs, out in their little prarie dog towns and communities. I made Bethany turn the car around like 3 times so I could get pictures and a video Enjoy!

 Also I swear I saw a wolf walking down the street!! Still to this day no one believes me! lots of Wildlife!

We then headed to Columbine high School, it was so sad and had an eery feeling. Well maybe because it was Sunday and it was closed and no one in the parking lot, but still so sad!

This is Ang. She took a picture of me while sleeping and I looked like a monster, I looked creepy. Then I took a picture of Ang while sleeping to get her back and then it turned out beautiful. Ya so much for getting her back:).
