One Year Anniversary!! We Are Great!

This is me with the backpack Matt bought me, I love it! Matt is a sweetheart and treats me so well. I am so lucky!
AND SURPRISE!!! Monday Matt said I could go shopping at the outlets. For our Anniversary?? I thought wow. Matt is so nice to do that. Matt is patient when we go shopping, but it's not his favorite (all guys don't like it). So I thought what a sacrifice for me. I love to go and it wasn't busy and there were great deals! Matt even found some stuff. can I just say I got all this stuff for I think $40?!

Me with the Marriot sign. As you can see, the sun was shining, it was a GORGEOUS day! Fun with the snow. It had snowed all the week before so we were worried, but it was so pretty.
So we still had gelato leftovers from the wedding. I tried the Strawberry gelato and it was disgusting. Matt wouldn't try it. It was so freezer burnt.
Our wedding cake was okay. I picked the weirdest flavor when I ordered the cake. I picked half chocolate and Vanilla with whipped cream. I don't know what I was thinking, but it wasn't too bad, it was just fun to have it there;).

So Sunday, Matt took me to Park City Marriot right next to the ski resort. We were there a year from April 10 (our anniversary). It was on our Wedding night that we stayed. It was soooo nice. We turned on the fireplace and just watched movies had wedding cake and just relaxed in the Mountains.

For an Anniversary gift Matt gave me a hiking backpack. We like to hike and are planning to go a lot this summer. This is not an ordinary backpack as you can see..... you can carry plates and silverware, goblets a cutting board and a bottle opener, so we can have romantic picnics when we hike. This was one of my favorite gifts.

Friday we just hung out and pretty much did nothing special, but just being with each other was so nice because we both get busy so we don't see each other as much. Saturday night we decided to go to Tucano's. We love that place and it's kind of our place to go;)
Matt planned out our one Year Anniversary and wouldn't tell me what we were doing, it was a surprise. I was so excited to find out where we were going! Matt told me we were going somewhere to stay from Sunday to Monday. Matt gave me these flowers on the Thursday before and he said it was to start a fun weekend and celebrate our first year. He did our wedding colors which were lime green/aqua. His sister Krissie helped put them together.

Night Out With My Mom

For Christmas I gave my mom a night out to Hairspray and dinner. She drove up to Bountiful and we went to Rumbi grill and then to Hairspray. It was so fun and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I never get to hang out with my mom. I teach Piano at my parent's house and I hardly get to talk when I go in and out. This would be so fun with sisters and with my mom again. What a fun memory!
