Zoo Lights!!!!!

I have always wanted to do Zoo Lights. So Last year we went and LOVED it! We loved it so much we went again this year! We love that no one is ever there (miss all the crowds). All the animals are in the dark, so it makes it all creepy, you can see them but can they see you? dun dun dun. Ha Ha okay.....Also there are huge trees with lights and lights everywhere! Althought, one thing that is hard is it's FREEZING! The zoo is right by the canyon, so you get all that wind. Anywho enjoy! The above picture is of a sheep. Right when we saw it, it came right over to say hi!
Look! I am even riding a spider!!
Okay funny story......So we didn't even see this porcupine because it was so dark. So we turn the corner and hear a loud, slow panting sound, kind of like something is dying. So we look down and there is a porcupine all fluffed up and looks so cold (I am guessing that's why it was panting(maybe it was dying?). Sorry porcupine!!

Little armadillo! So cute!
oh ya....we were very close to this Tiger CREEPY!!
This picture (if you can see) the Tigers were playing around or fighting??? It was so cool, because seriously we were the only ones left in the zoo because they were closing. So it was just us and these guys. We were so close to! They have really sharp teeth btw.
You could find turkeys all over the place just sitting around. I didn't see this Turkey until it was like a foot away from me! This picture is of Matt and I (You probably guessed that already:)).

This is the Tigers playing around. We thought it was cool??

This video is of the monkeys most of them looked like they were dead. BUT they were sleeping. Forgive my weird wave hello and high tiny voice in this video:).
So that's our visit to the zoo lights. You will see more pics next year. Oh and btw did you know they do free days at the zoo?? You should come to!

  1. You look like a cute little eskimo in that last pic, Em. It looks cold but really fun actually to do the Zoo Lights. Thanks for sharing...I've always wondered what it was all about. Way to go braving the COLD weather to see something COOL :).
